Biography:
As the Chief Operating Officer while also maintaining her Chief Financial Officer position, Jaki Porter assists the CEO in providing leadership and vision for a diverse health information exchange organization. Her day-to-day management efforts ensure that MHC effectively accomplishes its mission to provide patient engagement, improve health outcomes, improve efficiencies and reduce costs of health care. Porter joined MHC in 2013 as Finance Director and was appointed Chief Financial Officer after six months at MHC. Porter’s financial leadership of the organization has led to MHC’s ongoing financial strength and solidarity.
With more than 10 years’ experience in the public accounting arena and as the key team leader for a CPA firm, Porter was focused on audits, reviews, compilations, consulting, and other accounting and tax services within a wide range of industries including: health care, manufacturing, construction, non-profits, investment companies, broker/dealers, retailers, distribution and professional service providers. Porter received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Accountancy with a concentration in Taxation from University of Missouri Columbia in 2004.
